Spring Session Style Guide : For mom

Lets be honest, this is the WORST part of any session… THE OUTFIT! Let me help you! I’ve scanned the internet for the best dresses for your spring family photo sessions. While there are millions of dresses out there I had to narrow my search down with a few different criteria: Looks good on most body types, price range $30-$250, and a dress you could wear again and again.

These are only my top picks, again there are sooo many more dresses online but maybe this can give you an idea of what to look for while you are shopping. A few things to consider

The neckline, nothing too deep or tight.

The color, nothing too wild so that your photos are timeless. Also, green doesn’t work well for sping photos, think about the background during spring… everything is green, if you wear green you’ll blend in. Avoid green.

Fit, something that flatters your figure and hides what you don’t want seen. If you don’t like your arms and don’t want to worry about them in photos, wear a sleeve!

Length, longer dresses, wither midi or maxi are best for family photos, you don’t want to be worries about the wind picking up your skirt or things hanging out when you sit or bend down with your kids.

Happy shopping friends! Hover over the image of each dress for the link!
