I’ll be the first to tell you that I LOVE an in-home session, BUT dang sometimes that studio session hits just right and oh man is it good!

This was one of those sessions. Baby Hal and his mama and daddy came in to the studio shortly after he was born and honestly everything just went right. This truly ended up being one of my very favorite newborn sessions ever. Mama wore a sweet square neck cotton and lace sundress from my motherhood wardrobe and had her makeup beautifully applied by Ashley McElven of Southern Peony Beauty. When sweet baby Hal was not in his custom onesie he was wrapped in a simple white swaddle for that timeless look.

Hal was the easiest baby. He slept the whole time and made the sweetest softest faces. I adore this little guy!

These daddy snuggles make me melt. It is such a beautiful thing to see a man become a dad!

I’m a sucker for a B&W but man sometimes the color gets me more. I Love these!

I mean COME ON! Baby lips and family snuggles!! Holy Moly!!

Taking time to capture mama and her precious little newborn is so important to me. Capturing that bond and love is why I do what I do!

Details! snapping photos of little details like those sweet toes is so important to me. As a mama, I want to remember what every inch of my sweet babies looked like at this newborn stage. So sweet!!
